Who we are.
PULSS was founded in January 2026 by Leon Ngeleka and Ma Maposa. Travelling and working across the continent, we kept meeting the same problem: processes carried on people's backs — middlemen, phone calls, paperwork — that well-built software should have been carrying instead. Meridian Fuel began exactly there, with Ma's own attempt to enter Zimbabwe's fuel trade. There was no system, so we built one.
We've been building together since 2007 — first ventures as teenagers, several since, all of them shipped and monetised. The division of labour has never changed: one of us builds, the other joins the dots — the people, the partnerships, the route to the world. It was true when what we made was music out of a bedroom in Leeds, and it's true now. Leon has been solving problems with technology since 2010, set on that path by a Linux machine at six years old. Ma studied logistics and business at the University of Huddersfield, graduated top of his class, and built the relationships that already have PULSS at the table with the IFC and Afreximbank.
That is the company: a product partner, not an agency. We don't sell licences or churn out deliverables. We co-build category-defining software with our clients and obsess over it as if it were our own — because it is.
